The 4C's- which many see as a sub-set of STEM skills- help students to develop 21st century skills and build upon the skills that employers are seeking in their most qualified candidates.
In a recent studies, as reported by Forbes Magazine, USA Today College, Gallup poll and others, employers have been voicing their concerns that students are unprepared for the workforce and are applying for jobs without the skills that will make them successful employees. So what do employers want? In short, they want excellent soft-skills (4 C's) and STEM aptitude.
As a teacher, this is useful data. Having the answer key for how to prepare our students for the future is a huge advantage. But how do you actually incorporate these skills in the classroom without them being something else on your plate?
In this series, I'll identify some digital tools for each of the 4 C's and share how they can be easily incorporated into your STEM classroom and teach students to be the most qualified candidates.
