Funaab 2012/2013 Post Utme/DE Exams Date: Registration Procedures And Requirements

General Information
Candidate seeking admission into the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta should note that they have the SOLE responsibility of ensuring that they meet the minimum admission requirements at Ordinary Level, OND, NCE or HND before making any payment into the University coffers. If at any
point it is discovered that the candidate does NOT meet the minimum admission requirements, such offer of admission shall be withdrawn and payment made is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Admission into Agriculture, Engineering, Natural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Courses
In addition to scoring not less than 180 marks in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), candidates are expected to posses five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings.
A Pass in Physics at O-Level is acceptable ONLY for courses in Agricultural Programmes. A Pass in Biology with credit pass in Agricultural Sciences is acceptable ONLY for courses in Agricultural Programmes. The University does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology. Candidates applying for Water Resources Management should also possess a credit pass in Geography.
Admission into Management Sciences Courses Candidates are expected to posses credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other Social Sciences subjects from Geography, Accounts, Government, Business Studies and Commerce at not more than two (2) sittings.
Note: Applications for refund on losing admissions offer will not be entertained. It is the responsibility of candidates to ensure they meet the minimum admission requirements before making payment for acceptance of admission offer.
Fees
Candidates are expected to pay One Thousand Naira only (N1,000.00) for Post-UTME Registration PIN (for uploading of Biodata and academics results) and One Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N1,500.00) only for Portal Access PIN. Candidates are to pay into one of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) accounts (given below) in all branches nationwide of Zenith Bank Plc., or Guaranty Trust Bank Plc., that is of proximity to them to purchase Personal Identification Number (PIN) required to access FUNAAB website. PIN can also be obtained from FUNAAB Microfinance Bank, Abeokuta.

Sale of access PIN started on
25th May, 2012 and ends on 5th June, 2012.
UTME Candidates should further note that time schedule and venue for the Post-UTME on Wednesday 6th, Thursday 7th and Friday 8th June, 2012 would be provided on login into this Admission Portal with the purchased Personal
Identification Number (PIN) at the designated banks and their branches nationwide.
The print-out on logging in
should be brought along for the Post-UTME. Each candidate has been scheduled for specific time, day and venue which he/she is advised to strictly adhere to. The information on the scheduled time, day and venue would be provided on login into UNAAB website www.unaab.edu.ng with the PIN.
The Post-UTME would be by Computer-Based Test (Electronic Examination).
Admission Into 200 Level (Direct Entry)
In addition to the minimum requirement specified at O'Level, candidates seeking admission by Direct Entry are expected to posses a minimum of UPPER CREDIT at ND or HND and CREDIT at NCE for admissions into related areas from a recognized institution. G.C.E. Advance- Level passes in any two of the following: Mathematics, Physics,
Chemistry and Biology/Zoology/Botany are acceptable for admission into 200 Level.
FUNAAB DOES NOT ACCEPT LOWER CREDIT FOR DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION.
