Stick Around

Stick Around is the highly anticipated iPad app from Tony Vincent that I just had the pleasure of trying out.  This is an excellent app for teachers to create puzzles, diagrams, quizzes, annotating, and more.  SA interface is perfect for education as it allows educators/students to choose from projects or puzzles and then label objects.  These game be used for a wide variety of educational topics such as: labeling parts of a plant, water cycle, cell, etc etc.  Also, users can create them from scratch by drawing or uploading their own picture.  Best of all a person can add audio recordings which can be
used by students to create digital notes or by teachers for Guided Learning.

Post-it Plus

Post-it Plus is a neat little free iOS app that's been getting quite a bit of press online (iPad Apps for Schools) lately.  This cool app lets a user snap a pic of their paper post-it notes and then turn them digital.  Once they are uploaded to the iOS device they can be organized/tagged and shared w/ others.  Just another great way to make the move towards making your classroom paperless!!!

Chronicle

Chronicle is a innovative new iPad that is ideal for classroom management, grading, assessing, note-taking, and so much more.  It is a educational tool that educators are using for harnessing their teaching best practice methodologies.  It is designed for educators to "Chronicle" each student through detailed and easy to use data by allowing educators to add multimedia (i.e. audio, video, images, etc.) content to each student's progress.  Teachers can customize notes and audio clips to each student, and assess students in real-time using a visual "traffic-light" design.  Also, it allows educators to integrate Common Core Standards and act as a grade book w/ an abundance of export features.
