Dawood(DCET) Entry Test Timings Changed

Dawood College of Engineering and Technology(DCET) has changed the Entry Test timings due to the clash in timings with SSUET Entry Test.Earlier,Admission Tests for 2013 session at both the varsities were supposed to be held on November 18 at 10 a.m.SSUET administration claimed that they had already booked the Expo Centre for the entry test and Advertisements for their Entry test were published in newspapers months ago so they won't be changing the entry test date.Around 5000 students are appearing in SSUET Test.

Taken notice of the situation,DCET Principal Dr. Muhammad Ali Sheikh changed the entry test timings from 10 a.m to 2 p.m for the ease of students.Thousands of students apply in both the universities every year so they were in great concern regarding the test timings.

DCET Aptitude Test will now be held on November 18 at 2 p.m at MAJU,PECHS and SSUET test will held at Expo Centre on the same day at 10 a.m.

Activists of a student political party tortured Arshad Baig,the principal of Dawood College of Engineering and Technology(DCET) today.

Teachers have boycotted the classes in protest till further orders.

Admissions Open - KMDC 2012-2013

Admissions open in Karachi Medical and Dental College(KMDC) for the 2012-2013 Session.

Forms will be available from September 18,2012 to September 29,2012.
Last date of form submission is October 1,2012(upto 2:30 p.m)

Form and prospectus can be purshased at Rs. 1500 from the KMDC.

Total no. of seats for MBBS are 250 and 100 for BDS.

CAP/SECCAP Admissions 2014

Govt. of Sindh has renamed the Centralized Admission Policy(CAP) to the new Sindh E-Centralized College Admission Policy(SECCAP) with making the whole process of college admissions online.Total 102,950 seats are offered this year in all the faculties.

24,935 seats are available in Pre-Engineering,38,240 available in Commerce,18,695 for Pre-Medical,1700 for Computer Science,18780 for Humanities and 600 for Home Economics.

Before applying,check the brochure available on SECCAP website to know about the closing percentages of colleges and then choose your college accordingly.

SECCAP Online Admission Process

Students have to submit an online form available at SECCAP website.After submitting the form,a form number will be displayed,note it down,then download the submitted admission form and attach your Admit Card and Matric Marksheet photocopies.Go to your nearest Sindh Bank Branch(List of branches) and submit the form along with a fees chalan of Rs.60.Don't forget to collect your copy from the cashier.

Update:Last date of form submission has been extended for the fourth time and now the last date of form submission is September 2,2014.
