Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited(PTCL) is upgrading all student/regular 1,2 MB broadband connections to 4 MB.PTCL has set a minimum speed of Broadband as 4 MB for all the current and new users.So all users with 1 and 2 mb packages will be upgraded to 4 mb free of cost.But after the promotion ends they will be charged for 4 MB package.
With 3G/4G auction on April 23,2014,Internet users in Pakistan will get much higher internet speed through 3G/4G in coming days.
